IRL: Exhibition Design
With the premise of Waste of Space we were charged to make an installation in a vacant storefront about some type of waste. My team chose to focus on Waste of Time on screens due to screen addiction.

To give an introduction to the space the right wall will include a description.
By using stickers with prompts on them we would ask the visitors to give advice and put them on the telephone pole outside, making an "advice column".
This activity will use the metaphor of files and ask visitors to "open up" about how screen time has affected their life.
The connection to social media put into real life will bring a focus on local businesses and activities.
The final piece within the exhibit is the chat room upstairs. This will be a space to bring the visitors together.
