TYPEFACE DESIGN

DESIGN 214: MARKS AND SYMBOLS

Beginning with a ghost sign in Winnipeg Canada my group and I began with finding common widths and tracing letters. As the typemaster for my group I had the responsibility to merge all of our files in glyphs and double check our symbols.

Group Partners: Annie Vuong, Emma Brennan, Grace Rose

PROCESS

We began creating our typeface by tracing the O on the sign. Using the widths and curves that we measured from that we constructed the rest of our letters.

OUR TYPEFACE AND MY CHARACTERS

My three group members and I were each assigned 17 characters, mine were: A, B, P, R, V, W, X, b, c, d, e, k, o, p, q, and x.

NOTHING LEFT TO DO BUT SLEEP!
